Bearing steel grit is made of corner sheets cut by bearing steel, quenched and crushed. This kind of sharp angle steel grit has no shrinkage holes, no looseness, fine particle size, extremely high hardness, sharp edges and corners, and is the most ideal abrasive for sawing granite. According to customer needs, different uses are divided into three groups.
Group A: hardness> 60HRC
Usage: sawing granite
Features: fine particle size, extremely high hardness, sharp edges and corners, good resistance.
Group B: hardness 53-60HRC
Uses: Metal surface strengthening treatment or oxide scale removal work.
Features: high hardness, good toughness, good wear resistance
Group C: hardness 40-50HRC
Uses: Rust removal or scale removal work on metal surface.
Features: good wear resistance, high sandblasting efficiency.
The differences between BEARING STEEL GRIT and CAST STEEL GRIT
The raw materials are different. Ordinary cast steel grit is made by smelting scrap steel and alloy, and bearing steel grit is made from crushing bearing steel.
The production process is different. Ordinary cast steel grit is smelted and casting, which has certain defects, and the bearing steel grit is directly quenched and heated by bearing steel, and there is no defect.
Metallic elements are different. In addition to these elements, the bearing steel grit also contains precious metals Cr - Chrome, which enhances fatigue life and wear resistance.
The appearance is different. The surface of ordinary cast steel grit is made of cast steel shot crushed, with arc shape, and the bearing steel grit is directly crushed into grit by the bearing steel after quenching, with sharp edges and corners, and no arc.
Prices vary. The raw material price of bearing steel grit is higher than that of ordinary cast steel grit, resulting in bearing steel grit being more expensive than ordinary cast steel grit.
The efficiency is different. Bearing steel grit is about 50% more efficient than ordinary cast steel grit
